People's Artisan Pham Hai Hau
Outstanding Accomplishments
The contributions of People's Artisan Pham Hai Hau have been recognized by governments, departments, and community organizations at different levels and he was appointed as the Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial Club for Preserving and Promoting the National Cultural Heritage of Chau Van Singing.
2011
He was honored by the Center for the Education of Vietnam’s Traditions and History for his achievements in the education of the national traditions and history.
2013
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded him a Commemorative Medal for his contributions to culture, sports, and tourism.
2015
He was honored by the Vietnamese President as the “Meritorious Artist”.
2016
He received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister
2018 - 2019
He earned an outstanding achievement at the National Festivals of Van, Chau Van Singing (in 2018 in Thua Thien Hue and in 2019 at Lanh Giang Temple) and at the Festival showcasing Intangible Cultural Heritages representing humanity (in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, June 2019) organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
2006 - 2018
The People’s Committee of Ha Nam Province, the People’s Committee of Duy Tien District (now Duy Tien Town), and the Ha Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded him Certificates of Merit for his achievements in preserving the Chau Van performance art and his active participation in the Festival of Eminent Cultural Sites in Ha Nam province (in 2006, 2009, 2013, and 2018).
2022
For significant contributions to the preservation and development of intangible cultural heritage of the nation, specifically the ritual of Chầu văn singing, he was honored with the title “People’s Artisan” by the State.
